Bible School Overview

Our nine-month Bible school course is intended to nurture your relationship with Jesus Christ. The lectures, assignments, days spent focusing on prayer and serving through our weekly outreaches are all intended to help you grow as a follower of Christ. The hope is that the routines students practice will become lifelong habits of prayer, serving and personal Bible study.

Our curriculum varies slightly from year to year, with a variety of topics and an emphasis on the Bible. In addition to attending lectures, students are expected to complete assigned coursework, designed to enhance personal spiritual discovery. Each student is involved in some form of local outreach to help put into practice what they learn in class.

Although the primary emphasis of the curriculum is devotional and practical rather than academic, transfer of credits is possible for some colleges in Europe, the United States and Canada at their discretion.

Bible Reading

Over a full-year course, students read the Bible in its entirety. The Old Testament is a fall/winter term assignment, while the New Testament is read during the spring term. Students are provided a reading schedule.

Bible Journals

Along with the Bible reading, students write and submit periodic journals. This aids the student in reading and reflection, as well as receiving guidance from staff.

Bible Verses

Students memorize two verses a week. One is assigned, while the other is chosen by the student. At the end of each term, a test is given on assigned memory verses only.

Book Reports

Throughout the year, students read a few assigned Christian books and write reports on the material.

Devotional Preparation

Each student prepares a short devotional to share with the student body.

Community and Fellowship

An important part of the Bible school year is fostering community with students, staff and Swedish people. We have weekly outreaches that students are asked to serve in, and regular worship and chapel services.
